Philadelphia
Cheese Ball
Tell Us About It
I was given this recipe by a great guy I
used to work with, Steve. He gave it to me over 20+ years ago. My family
'requests' it at every holiday gathering. It is easy, and GOOD.
Ingredients
2 eight
ounce boxes of Philly Cheese, [set out to soften] |
1 small
package of radishes |
1 small
bundle of green onions |
2 small
packages of the thinly sliced beef, [Like Buddings, may be called
pressed beef] |
A couple
shakes of Worstershire sauce |
. . .
Directions
In food processor, shred the radishes, green
onions, and the packages of beef. (You can use less or more of the
radishes and green onions if you wish). Combine the Philly cheese,
shredded radishes, shredded green onions, shredded beef, and a couple of
shakes of Worstershire sauce, combine until thoroughly mixed, shape in to
a ball, wrap in saran wrap, and let sit in refrigerator over night. The
longer it sits, the better it gets, as the flavors are traded and
absorbed.
Serve with Town House Crackers, (or if you
prefer, Ritz crackers)
