Piece Quilt Blocks

USING YOUR HOOP!

Did you know you can make REAL, ACTUAL quilt blocks with your hoop????  With my technique you'll end up with 3, 4 or 6" finished blocks.  No experience needed.  Detailed, pictorial instructions are included.

Sausage Pinwheels

1 lb Jimmy Dean or Owens Sausage 1 roll of Pillsbury crescent rolls (the uncooked kind by the biscuits) McCormick
Season All
soft butter

Roll the crescent rolls out on a flat surface and press until it's all one unit.  Slather butter next all over.  Spread the uncooked sausage evenly.  Season with the Season All to your desired taste.   Roll up like a Jelly Roll.  Work the long roll until it's a lot thinner in size and it will become longer.  It's like you're stretching it.  I then use a long piece of dental floss, to separate into pinwheels.   Just slide the floss under a 1/2" section of the roll then cross strings and pull... this will then crimp off a nice 1/2" piece.  Place all pinwheels onto a large baking sheet, give them room to expand.  Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

We eat these as a meal sometimes... great for breakfast!
