Indian Fry Bread
8 cups flour |
3/4 cup
sugar |
1
heaping tablespoon baking powder |
3 1/2
cups milk |
Directions:
Mix all
together. Add
more milk little by little until right consistency for rolling. Roll out
like pie crust on floured board. Cut in small squares, poke hole in
center. Deep fry. Can be eaten plain, with powdered sugar or a favorite
sauce, or with chili.
