Did you know you can make REAL, ACTUAL quilt blocks with your hoop????  With my technique you'll end up with 3, 4 or 6" finished blocks.  No experience needed.  Detailed, pictorial instructions are included.

Milky Way Cake

6 Milky way Bars (or 13 fun size bars) 1 1/4 cup of butter or margarine (2 sticks = 1 cup of butter) 2 cups of sugar 4 eggs
2 1/2 cups of sifted all purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/4 cup of butter milk 1 tsp. of vanilla
1 cup of chopped nuts your choice    
 
Directions:
 
1) melt bars in 1/2 cup of butter or margarine in sauce pan over very low heat. Beat remaining 1/2 cup of butter or margarine and sugar in medium size bowl until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beat well.

2) Add flour and baking soda alternate with buttermilk, stir until smooth.  Add melted candy, mixing well stir in vanilla and nuts.

3) pour batter into a greased and floured bundt pan or ten inch tube pan Bake in moderate oven at 350 degree for 1 hour 20 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched, top of cake will be quite dark.

4) cool in pan or wire rack for 10 minutes. remove from pan and cool completely frost if you wish for you can use powered sugar.
