Piece Quilt Blocks

USING YOUR HOOP!

Did you know you can make REAL, ACTUAL quilt blocks with your hoop????  With my technique you'll end up with 3, 4 or 6" finished blocks.  No experience needed.  Detailed, pictorial instructions are included.

Beef and Rice

Tell Us About It

My very best friend Anna gave me this recipe, and it's wonderful for a cold winter day. (and fabulous as leftovers!)

Ingredients

4 Cans Cream of mushroom soup 2 Cans of water (omit if using your crock pot) 1 package onion soup mix 1 - 2 pounds Stew meat (or whatever meat you have in the house)

Directions

Stick this all in your oven safe pot, cook it at 350 for at least 5 hours stirring once an hour. Serve it over rice. This works up well in the crock pot with the same cooking time, minus the water.

Comments

Right now I'm working on birthday block swaps and the last sunbonnet sleuth mystery quilt. All are really turning out WONDERFUL!
