Chinese Pineapple Chicken
1# chicken breast |
1 tsp. cornstarch |
pepper to taste |
1 garlic clove |
oil |
3 tsp. soy sauce |
1 small can pineapple chunks |
2 T. water |
1 T. cornstarch |
Mix chicken with 1 tsp. cornstarch, pepper, garlic clove, and 1 tsp. soy
sauce. Fry chicken in a little oil until under done. Add pineapple (save
the juice for later). Simmer 3 minutes. Set aside. Mix 2 tsp. soy
sauce, water, leftover pineapple juice and 1 T. cornstarch. Add sauce to
chicken in pan and cook until thick. Serve on Rice.
