Layered Mexican Casserole

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 Can Ranch Style Beans
1 small can chopped green chili peppers
1 can Hormel Chili without Beans (this can be substituted with your own
chili recipe.
Grated Monterey Jack and Cheddar Cheese
1 Pack 10" Flour Tortillas

Sauté onion in large skillet and brown beef.  Add beans, chili and peppers
and simmer for 30 minutes.

Line bottom of deep casserole dish with 1/3 of flour tortillas, cover with
half of the ground beef mixture and top with half of the grated cheese.  Top
with 1/3 of the tortillas, remaining ground beef mixture and cheese and top
with last 1/3 of tortillas.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until tortillas on top are golden
brown.

**note:  spiciness dependant upon personal taste.  Chili's can be mild,
medium or hot.  Check the side of the can for "heat" level.

Serve topped with Sour Cream, Salsa, etc.
