Please no simple, basic patterns like, 9-Patch, snowball or friendship stars.

Fabrics and Colors:  ONLY good quality prewashed (we don't want bleeds) and ironed 100% cotton. If you can see through it don’t use it!

Sewing Techniques Accepted:  (add cut or make your own here)

Pieced, Paper Pieced, Needle turn Appliqué & Fused. Yes, Fused BUT ONLY IF you have a machine that does TRUE BLANKET STITCHING, no zigzags what so ever, by hand is not accepted.  Use Heat-n-Bond LITE fusible webbing and thread MUST match to top fabric.  Use close, tight stitches to make sure ALL edges are secure.  You can review the SMS guidelines by going here:  https://sewmanyswaps.tripod.com/Guidelines.htm   

I will inspect all samples closely and return any not meeting the standards set in place.  Any blocks not meeting the sewing guidelines will be returned unswapped!!  All blocks sent in must be squared up and ready to use when we get them all back.  This does not mean that you cut off tips/points just to square up now... LOL  REDO REDO REDO... cutting tips off is a big no no..

Quantity:  Our maximum total is #Here Blocks. After the signup date is met, an email will be posted on the CQP forum for the exact total to sew, but no more than 50.

Sample blocks: Everyone must send in a sample block using the above required fabrics from the pattern you choose, send in one block sample per set.  All samples will be scanned for judging so do your best on them as well as your swap.  

Samples are to due DATE. If you do not have them in you will be dropped.  Also, all sample blocks will go to Project Linus.  If you can, please include 1 First class stamp.  This is to help offset mailing blocks to charity.
